We will start our day together with the pledge of allegiance to the Bible and the flag, announcements, and a worship song. Other activities will include bible study, hymn study, and a closer look at an attribute of Jesus.

We will be using “Our Mother Tongue” as our English grammar book for all age levels; it will be modified to fit the needs of the students. Younger students and older students will be separated for English grammar instruction to best meet their academic needs.

This year all students will be learning American history. One lesson will be read and discussed in class and parents will be responsible for the remaining history readings at home. All geography lessons will be covered in class each week.

Students will have the opportunity to visit stations designed to practice their math skills. the parent is responsible to choose their own math curriculum for their child. This class is intended to practice the skills the students are learning at home. We will offer stations covering number sense, clocks, money, fractions, geometry, coordinate grids, logic, word problems etc. throughout the year.
